Bram's 65!

It has come a long way to look this good!
Some small bugs need to be ironed out, but it's just in time for springtime!
Chopper guy at heart, he couldn't chop this one up. Instead he decided to go the more stockish look first, and then see what flows out of that.
Love this pic! Very nice glow about that thing

Bike had a lot of chrome to start with, (engine, front drum, rear forks oil tank to name a few.) so it became clear to go for the 60s custom look by adding the red stockish paintjob and some white details. White footpegs grips will folow shortly. Plus painting the heads and cylinders silver add to the whole 1960s vibe. Just a bike a GI returning from Nam would ride!!!Never mind the sagging front fork boots! that will get sorted eventually!

Who doesn't love the "sportster"script primary cover!??
Nicely color coded with the snack-mobile in the background Bram! great job!

Bram's bike!

Had these pics for a while, (since last spring judging by the trees!)
From Bram's funky 60s ironhead chopper! and we did a nice spring stroll through the countryside!

it's an oldie but a goodie! He drives it all over the Netherlands and starts mostly in 1st or 2nd kick. All that after some money was spent on the motor ofcourse!
it's hard to tell in the pics, but that's a Ness frontend in there, topped off with a hamburger wheel and some cool narrowed six bend bars

looking great side by side!
But looks even better next to a Honda funny chopper!!!
everybody on board and ready to go

Bram had to do some mileage to break in the fresh motor, so off we went!

Trust no black tank!

another miracle has happened! Harry found this 70s gem hiding under a coat of black!
Dive in the garage and check every black tank you got hangin! (and ofcourse share it here!)

@ Harry: build a bike around it! Throw it up on the frame you got in the attic ;-)

Freaky Frank friday!

Are there more CF fenders in Holland then in the rest of the world!?? don't know, but here is another from Niels! Dubbed the Frankenstein (now it needs a paintjob to complement that name Niels!) and is clearly a work in progress and the typical Dutch garden build! Bars are from PangeaSpeed, molded tank by Groovy Cycles, CFF, and some aftermarket oil tank. And the 35mm wide glide trees were already on the bike and were a popular item in the 80s
Plans are to get some lower shocks and maybe a round swingarm, to get that stance right.

Get that wheel in original shape Niels! get that black stuff off the highlighted area!

Nice and heavy molding
Nice spagetthi Niels, I guess you wont do any driving soon, right!??

*many children and small animals were harmed with that huge beltdrive* another 90s hickup!

They all hate it!

... but they all want to ride it!!! Sik and Mr Magic had a go on the garbage wagon. It was fun to see em cruise that big pile of crap!
and to be honest, they had to be forced with a stick to drive it!

Always under construction!

with so many cool ideas and only 1 old shovelhead, mr. Magic needs to evolve his bike to keep sane!
The latest shape is definatly the most subtle and vintage looking version of em all. The man deserves a goldplated statue in downtown Biddinghuizen!

The most distinct features are the handmade paintjob on the narrow mustang tank and the placement of it nice and low on the toptube.
The adjustable triple trees are giving the bike bike its laid out stance. The Bates seat is probably going to leave in favor of the old white 2 seater that used to be on my own bike, can't wait how that will turn out!
Also a sidemount is in the works. Will keep you updated on the progress!

'Mr.Magic..........

......is a happy man!

He bought a CHEAP seat. But without the original leather. He made himself a new cover. He used an ugly old leather coat of his father-in-law. Without sewing!
