when i lived in Oregon, these 'cut ups' were all the rage. I came *this* clsoe to choppin my 71 van, bertha, (had a sliding door) but after talking to an owner who had done, this mod, decided against it - he had said teh cut up made the vehicle squirrelly at highway speeds and in those days I was traversing the country alot...on the highway... figured it wasnt such a smart idea..so i put a Porsche 911 motor in it instead!
