I bought one of these in the mid-'70s that had been set up for a Honda 750. It was shipped to me in Austin from the fabricator in California, minus the motor. What the SOB didn't tell me until it arrived was that the down tube/oil tank was cracked and needed to be welded up. This of course raised the question as to whether it was even a road worthy design. About the same time, I realized the local shop that was rebuilding part of my 750 motor had botched the job and destroyed the head. I never finished the project and have no idea now what happened to the bike. Probably in a landfill somewhere.
very cool
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how this works. It doesn’t have a chain so maybe it doesn’t?!
ReplyDeleteGood eye! Didnt see that it doesnt have a chain...
DeleteTechnically the thing could work, but the vibrations would be terrible at higher rpms i think
don't look at the missing chain, look at his hair
ReplyDeletehahaha!!
DeleteWhere’s the tank. And you’re right with out the top tube it’s gotta vibe too much
ReplyDeleteI own one gas tank under seat and as for vibration same as any other sporty.
ReplyDeleteI owned#2 it's a kick start and electric start chain and shifter are on the other side
ReplyDeleteI beam neck double as oil tank
