    Classic. The simplisticity of that car blew my mind when I first saw it in hot VWs. Sweet.

    yeah! i wasn't around when it featured in the mag, but I've always liked this one, it's clean and fresh!

    I was barely around at the time, but my older brother had all the old hot VWs, still does. In my opinion, this is where cal look should've stopped. I never got into the 80s cal look, one piece windows and crazy graphics.

    Anyway, good post.

    and still, If you see a full blown 80's looker rolling down the street, it would rule!
    But I'm more partial to the 70's style!
