German style

If you were into custom bikes and choppers in the 70s and 80s you could not go around the guys from AME. The German company took on the TUV and very strict german laws and provided chopper parts that were proved and tested, a must if you wanted to drive your bike on the streets and not get hassled by the man!! Up to this day German chopperbuilders have to let an official check every single part they bolt on their bikes! Every single bolt or modification is also documented in the registration of the bike. Think about it, it's crazy!!!

Image from a 1985 company catalog, more scans to come!

1982 UK built Yamaha

Built by John Reed, UK, in 1982

Done!

mr. Magics ride done and sold again!

It's a 1979 ironhead, and for those that don't know: it's a tough year, many freaky one year only parts and the frame doesnt lend for something cool, its either caferacer material or tracker style and then this is the best example for the latter!!!

Blast to drive with the wide handlebars and meaty tires and because its light, it corners nice too. Many stock parts were kept to maintain that factory XR style looks.

Roth trike

looking badass with that Honda Dax wheel up front!???

Normally I don't care so much for VW powered trikes, but the roth body is pretty nice and narrow. I might have to look again for another opinion on the matter!

Weird wheel

very rare wheel mostly used in diggers, but never as a front wheel for a full dresser! Weird!

Cheesy

It's hard to find cool dresser pics, since it has been a while, this will have to do. It would have been far more awesome with some sort of psychedelic paintjob instead of the airbrush.

Trinkets and doodads galore!

and the obligatory nighttime ass-shot!
